Our Story

Decades of Precision. A New Chapter of Growth.

Forrest Machine Products has spent decades earning a reputation for precise, reliable, on-spec components. What began as a focused machining operation has grown into a full-service manufacturing partner — one that customers come back to because the work is right and the relationship is easy.

In December 2024, Forrest Machine Products was acquired by Goyal Industries, Inc. — a Mansfield, Ohio-based metal fabrication and machining company with over 30 years of experience. The acquisition brings together two complementary shops under shared ownership, expanding the combined range of capabilities available to customers of both companies.

For Forrest customers, this means more resources, a broader skillset, and the same team and quality standards you've always counted on.

Our Facility

50,000 Sq Ft Built for Precision Work

Our Lexington, Ohio facility houses a modern fleet of CNC turning centers, Swiss-style machines, grinding equipment, and fabrication tools. Climate-controlled inspection areas and calibrated measurement equipment ensure every part meets spec before it ships.

We've invested in our equipment and our processes so that our customers don't have to worry about whether we can handle the job — we can, and we'll document it.

Goyal Industries, Inc. has operated in Mansfield, Ohio for over 30 years, specializing in custom metal fabrication — structural weldments, custom components, and assemblies for industrial clients requiring precise dimensions and tight tolerances.

With capabilities in MIG and TIG welding, CNC machining, finishing, and project management — and experience with Kanban and JIT supply programs — Goyal brings a fabrication-first perspective that complements Forrest's machining depth.

Together, the two companies can take a customer from raw material to finished assembly across a broader range of manufacturing processes than either could offer alone.
